roofingIndustrial Vacuum Equipment Corporation's first vacuum ever manufactured was for a customer that was looking for a better way to get gravel off flat commercial roofs. In 1992, with help from several roofing contractors, we developed our first roof vacuum, the Hurricane™ 600. Since that time, the Hurricane™ has become the roofing contractor's choice for a high quality, high production, low maintenance, affordable roof vacuum.

roofing applicationIndustrial Vacuum's Hurricane™ models 600 and 755 are the two models that work best for this application. Both units have 3,660 CFM, the 600 is a 170 horsepower diesel and can pull 16" of mercury. The 755 has 225 horsepower and can pull up to 27" of mercury.

Both units can vacuum pea gravel or 2-3" river rock (ballast) up to 1,000 feet. The 755 pulls harder at those longer distances.
