Hurricane 400 Specifications

• TRAILER MOUNTED: Total weight 7,200 lbs, Chassis-Tandem 6000 lbs axles, rectangular tube frame, four 6-lug heavy duty wheels and tires with electric brakes and DOT approved lights and pintle hook trailer connection.
• POWER SOURCE: John Deere turbo charged diesel, Tier 3 Engine, 4 cylinder 80 hp @ 2400 RPM.
• P.T.O (clutch): Heavy duty 10” power take off.
• VACUUM AIR FLOW (blower): Positive displacement, 1450 cfm capable of 16” of mercury, 3 belt-driven with guard (Roots 418 RAM).
• FILTRATION SYSTEM (3-Stage):
  • Stage 1: Cyclonic separation.
  • Stage 2: Bag house/28 teflon coated quick change filter bags with continuous reverse pulse cleaning.
  • Stage 3: High efficiency blower safety filter.
• ENCLOSURE: Steel shroud over engine.
• INSTRUMENT PANEL: (fully enclosed) 12 Volt key start, Murphy safety system (low oil pressure/high coolant temperature-auto shut down)
  • Gauges: oil pressure, water temperature, ammeter, tachometer with hour meter, filter cleaning on/off switch, material vacuum & dump controls.
• AIR COMPRESSOR: Direct drive twin cylinder water cooled and oil pressure fed. Air dryer with electric heater. ASME certified air tank (provides air to pneumatic controls and self cleaning filter system).
